Why does MATЯ, matter?

Did you know that 30 million mattresses end up as waste in Europe every year?

These mattresses can take decades to decompose, and are usually made from materials that can’t be fully recycled or reused. This is a huge environmental problem. At MATЯ, we decided it was time to end put this huge waste problem to bed.

That’s why our mattress is unique. It is proudly made with high quality, recyclable materials and it’s designed with care for you and your body. This means no more mattress waste, and a great night’s sleep for you.

About MATЯ.

We are an award-winning circular economy startup based in Vienna. Our mission is to provide hotels with a premium sleep experience for their guests whilst effortlessly reducing their environmental footprint through our innovative mattress solution. Our mattresses never end up as waste and always go back into the material cycle, resulting in a carbon footprint 50% less than conventional mattresses.
